An important Workshop on the meat sector at the University of Padova

On Monday 17th of December, the University of Padova (Italy) will host an important workshop on the meat sector, called Social and Trade Unionist practices of the slaughtering industry. The Meat-Up Ffire project will take part to it.

In the Aula Giulio Regeni (via Cesarotti 12), from 2pm to 7pm, many researchers from different Italian Universities will intervene, giving their contribution to a wide dialogue between the world of research and that of trade unions daily practices. In this spirit, two members of our research team will participate to the workshop: dr. Daniela Freddi (from Ires-Emilia Romagna) and dr. Giulio Centamore (from the University of Urbino) will give a speech on "The Retail Revolution and its effects on the workers of agrifood systems".

This workshop constitutes a precious opportunity for our project to be known and to be part of a local and national network of experts and stakeholders. As our journey continues, we will keep you up-to-date on the many occasions for networking and spreading our work. If you can, join us at Padova workshop.
